After completing this module the student is able to

• Understand the underlying factors to environmental problems and the different perspectives required to solve them, including technology, environmental policy and decision-making.
• Design environmental technology processes, especially in water and waste technology
• Apply environmental technologies and practices to promote sustainable development in communities and industries
• Critically analyze information, draw conclusions, and present the results both orally and in writing
• Communicate and collaborate in working life and scientific activities
• Work in a multidisciplinary and international environment
