Description

The PGH Advanced Studies consist of the following study entities: Compulosory Core Studies 55 ECTS, Master Thesis Studies 30 ECTS, an optional Internship 0-10 ECTS and Elective Studies 5-15 ECTS (students choose 1-3 courses from the list).

Objectives

After successful completion of the advanced studies the student will understand factors affecting major health problems in the population. The student will be able to describe and analyse public and global health problems. She/he has developed skills to plan, conduct, assess and report public health research and projects. The student has achieved an understanding of global and inter-sectoral influences on health, global health policy agendas and norms. The student masters the skills needed in working life and adheres to ethical and sustainable development principles in all her/his actions.
