Current Debates in Anthropology, 5 cr

The course will explore the latest anthropological research in different fields of social anthropology, such as migration studies, transnational and diasporic networks and communities, health, power and violence, cultural heritage and cultural production, political anthropology, anthropology of childhood or anthropology of religions. Performance may also focus on the application of anthropological knowledge to professional practices.

The course is completed by participation in class or by an independent project to be agreed with the responsible teacher.
