Orientation to studying educational sciences (Bachelor's Programme in Educational Studies), 4 cr

The student becomes familiar with university studies, the processes of studying and guidance, and campus services. The course includes support for study planning and working in different kinds of study environments.

Questions related to expertise in the field of education and teaching, working life and studying are dealt with in seminar groups.

The course includes familiarisation with working life in the field of education in accordance with study modules.

The course also contains an introduction to scientific literacies in the field of education science and to the practices of academic information searching and referencing.

During the course, the student will start to build a Journey Portfolio demonstrating the development of expertise.
